Hi, I’m Devin! I’m a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Philosophy at Columbia University. I am also currently an instructor at Duke University. I work primarily in philosophy of language, specifically areas at the intersections of foundations of philosophy of language/linguistics and applied philosophy of language.

Research

I am currently writing my dissertation on conversational deniability (“That’s not what I said!”) and what it can tell us about intentionalist vs. conventionalist debates.
